On 25 June 2025, Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), Dr. Mirvokhid Azimov, took part in a dedicated workshop on the Orkhun Process and the Turkic University Union (TURKUNIB), held within the framework of the Second Turkic World Summer School, hosted by Ibn Haldun University.

The workshop addressed key challenges related to the Orhun Process and TURKUNIB, including issues of regulatory alignment, financial frameworks, institutionalization and digitalization. Prior to the session, Dr. Azimov also delivered a speech to the participants of the Summer School.
