Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), Dr. Mirvokhid Azimov, delivered opening remarks at the KazHackStan Cybersecurity Conference on 17 September 2025 in Almaty.

In his address, Deputy Secretary General highlighted the Organization’s second participation in the event and commended the strong commitment of OTS Member States to strengthening regional and international cooperation in the face of growing digital threats.

He reaffirmed the strategic importance of cybersecurity as a key pillar of sustainable economic growth, national security, and citizens’ trust in digital transformation.

Dr. Mirvokhid Azimov emphasized that the KazHackStan Conference serves as a unique platform for knowledge-sharing, capacity-building, and fostering innovation, and expressed confidence that it will continue to enhance cooperation among experts and policymakers across the Turkic world.

The event was attended by senior officials of the OTS Member States, including Vice Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Doszhan Musaliyev and Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Türkiye Ömer Fatih Sayan.
