On 15 September 2025, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, on the margins of the International Forum on Tourism organized on the occasion of the proclamation of Jalal-Abad as the “Tourism Capital of the Turkic World,” held a meeting with the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in Jalal-Abad Region, Mr. Tilek Tekebaev, and the Mayor of Jalal-Abad, Mr. Ernisbek Ormokov.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on advancing tourism development within the framework of OTS cooperation and discussed the activities being carried out in connection with the designation of Jalal-Abad as the Tourism Capital of the Turkic World.

The discussions emphasized the importance designation of coordinated efforts between local authorities and the OTS to further strengthen tourism initiatives and enhance the visibility of Jalal-Abad as a center for cultural and economic engagement in the Turkic World.  translate to turkish with its title
