The 5th Meeting of the Working Group on Energy of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held on 9 December 2025 in Istanbul with the participation of the experts of the OTS countries.

Parties elaborated on the cumulative energy potential of the OTS countries in the face of recent developments in the region and the globe, and discussed prospective joint OTS energy projects. 

Initiatives that would enhance energy security of the OTS countries, reinforce energy diversification, as well as  green energy development and transmission between the Turkic states and Europe were pain particular emphasis during the discussions. 

Delegations also discussed the draft Agenda and Program of the 5th meeting of the Ministers in charge of Energy of the OTS to be convened on 10 December 2025 in Istanbul.
