On 19 September 2025, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, met with H.E. Jeenbek Kulubaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, in Bishkek.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the outcomes of the First Meeting of the Heads of Government/Vice-President of the OTS Member States convened in Bishkek. They also exchanged views on the OTS activities being held in the Kyrgyz Republic within the framework of the Kyrgyz Chairmanship.

The sides further addressed the preparations for the upcoming 12th Summit of the OTS, scheduled to take place on 6–7 October 2025 in Gabala, Republic of Azerbaijan.

In the framework of the meeting, the Secretary General was awarded the Medal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic “For Strengthening International Cooperation,” in recognition of his significant contribution to the development and enhancement of international relations.
