On the sidelines of the 1st Meeting of Ministers of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek OMURALIEV, Secretary General of the OTS, held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Mr. Vedat IŞIKHAN, Minister of Labour and Social Security of the Republic of Türkiye.

The Parties underscored the importance of deepening cooperation in the fields of labour, employment and social protection, highlighting the need to strengthen policy coordination and advance joint efforts aimed at building more inclusive and resilient labour markets across the OTS region.

They exchanged views on planned initiatives, emphasizing the shared priorities of improving labour mobility, enhancing skills development, expanding social protection mechanisms and ensuring better support for workers across Turkic States.

The Parties also discussed preparations to the 2nd Meeting of Ministers in Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the OTS planned in Türkiye in 2026.
