H.E. Amb. Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), visited Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS) as part of his visit to Uzbekistan.

During the visit, Secretary General Omuraliev met with H.E. Gulchehra Rixsiyeva, Rector of TSUOS. The meeting focused on expanding cooperation in the field of education and strengthening academic partnerships among Turkic countries.

Both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing collaboration among Turkic nations and agreed to increase joint projects and programs within the framework of the Orkhun Exchange Program of the Turkic Universities Union.

Secretary General also delivered a lecture titled “Current State and Prospects for the Development of Cooperation within the Framework of the OTS”, highlighting the growing role of educational and cultural cooperation in deepening ties among Turkic states.
