Closing Ceremony of “Manas - 2025 Tourism Capital of the Turkic World” held in Manas City, Kyrgyz Republic

The Closing Ceremony of “Manas - 2025 Tourism Capital of the Turkic World” was held in Manas City, Kyrgyz Republic, on 17 December 2025. The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Manas City, Mr. Ernisbek Ormokov; Deputy Governor of Ankara, Mr. İzzettin Sevgili; Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), Dr. Mirvokhid Azimov; as well as more than 200 participants.

In his address, the Deputy Secretary General congratulated the Kyrgyz authorities and the people of Manas City on the successful completion of a year marked by rich cultural, touristic, and promotional activities conducted under the title of Tourism Capital of the Turkic World. He expressed his appreciation to the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and local administrations for their warm hospitality and the effective organization of events throughout 2025.

In his concluding remarks, Dr. Azimov announced that the title of Tourism Capital of the Turkic World for 2026 will be transferred to Ankara. He expressed confidence that Ankara, with its rich historical heritage and modern vision, will further enhance the prestige and impact of this initiative.

During the ceremony, the symbolic key of the Tourism Capital of the Turkic World was officially transferred from Manas to Ankara.
