On 28 January 2025, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Kubanychbek Omuraliev, held a meeting with the Secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic, H.E. Marat Imankulov, in Bishkek.

During the meeting, the parties discussed preparations for the upcoming 4th Meeting of the Secretaries of the Security Councils of the OTS Member States in the Kyrgyz Republic. They emphasized the importance of this meeting as an opportunity to further consolidate efforts to address common security challenges and enhance cooperation among OTS Member States.

In addition to discussing the agenda for the session, the parties exchanged views on pressing regional security issues. They underscored the significance of enhanced coordination and collective action to ensure peace, stability, and resilience in the Turkic region amid evolving global and regional dynamics.
