Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Kubanychbek Omuraliev, held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, H.E. Meder Abakirov, in Bishkek on 27 January 2025. Secretary General Omuraliev congratulated Deputy Minister Abakirov on his new position and expressed confidence in his valuable contributions to the Organization’s initiatives.

During the meeting, Secretary General Omuraliev and Deputy Minister Abakirov reviewed the calendar of activities for 2025, emphasizing the importance of effective coordination to ensure the successful implementation of key initiatives.

The parties also discussed measures to strengthen the OTS Secretariat, highlighting the need to expand its institutional capacity to better respond to the growing scope of its activities. Secretary General Omuraliev underscored the achievements of the Secretariat in ensuring operational efficiency and fostering collaboration among member states.

Deputy Minister Abakirov reaffirmed Kyrgyzstan’s readiness to actively support the Organization’s initiatives during its chairmanship and emphasized the importance of aligning efforts to advance shared goals.
