On January 27, 2025, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Amb. Kubanychbek Omuraliev, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, H.E. Jeenbek Kulubaev, in Bishkek. The meeting served as a platform to review the achievements of the OTS in 2024 and discuss plans for enhanced cooperation in 2025 under Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship.
Secretary General Omuraliev highlighted the successful implementation of more than 170 activities across 35 areas of cooperation in 2024, including around 30 high-level ministerial and agency meetings. He stressed the importance of enhancing partnerships through joint projects, forums, and training programs to address pressing global challenges.
Minister Kulubaev reaffirmed Kyrgyzstan’s commitment to advancing initiatives within the framework of the OTS. He underscored the significance of Kyrgyzstan's priorities, particularly in implementing the outcomes of the 11th OTS Summit held in Bishkek, including initiatives on sustainable development, digital economy, and multilateral cooperation.
The meeting concluded with a shared vision for deepening collaboration among Turkic states, ensuring the successful implementation of strategic projects, and promoting the collective interests of the OTS on the global stage.
