The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, participated in the Forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, held in Ashgabat on 12 December 2025 on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality.

The Forum brought together Heads of State of the OTS Member States and other countries, senior government officials, representatives of international organizations, and a high-level international audience, and served as an important platform for discussions on peace, trust, and international cooperation.

Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality represents a historic milestone, marking three decades of the country’s steadfast commitment to the principles of neutrality, peaceful coexistence, and dialogue, and continues to serve as an internationally recognized model of constructive diplomacy.

As part of the forum program, Secretary General Ömüraliyev visited the Neutrality Monument in Ashgabat together with the Heads of State and Government participating in the Forum and attended the ceremony held for the occasion.
