On 24 April 2025, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, H.E. Amb. Kubanychbek Omuraliev participated in the 3rd Ministerial Conference of the Almaty Process in Baku. The Meeting was hosted by H.E. Vusal Huseynov, Chief of State Migration Service of Azerbaijan.

At the meeting, Secretary General Omuraliev emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation in addressing irregular migration across the region and highlighted the value of sharing best practices among Member and Observer States.

During the meeting, Baku Declaration was also endorsed by the participants.
