FOURTH MEETING OF THE COORDINATION GROUP FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF INTERNATIONAL TURKIC NEWS CHANNEL OF THE TURKIC COUNCIL
Fourth Meeting of the Coordination Group for the Establishment of International Turkic News Channel of the Turkic Council was held in Astana on 17 August 2015, prior to the First Meeting of the Ministers and High Officials in charge of Information and Media. Representatives of the National TV Channels, Official News Agencies and other relevant authorities of the Member States participated the meeting.
The Meeting was moderated by the Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Abzal Saparbekuly. Project Directors of the Turkic Council Yedil Myrzakhanov, Hatice Tuğba İkizler, Zamin Aliyev, Zhuldyz Uzakova were in charge of its coordination.
At the meeting, the Parties finalized for approval the Draft Concept Paper for the Establishment of International Turkic News Channel. They also discussed the draft texts of Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation among News Agencies, Protocol of Cooperation Among the National TV Channels of the Turkic Council, and Declaration of Cooperation on Information and Media among the Turkic Council Member States to be signed during the meeting of the Ministers and High Officials on 18 August 2015.
