8th Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers convened in İstanbul
The 8th Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) convened in İstanbul on 11 November 2021 within the framework of the 8th Summit of the Turkic Council.
The meeting hosted by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan H.E. Jeyhun Bayramov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan H.E. Mukhtar Tileuberdi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Ruslan Kazakbaev. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan H.E. Abdulaziz Kamilov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, H.E. Rashid Meredov, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary H.E. Péter Szijjártó, Secretary General of the Turkic Council H.E. Baghdad Amreyev.
Chairman of the Council of Elders (Aksakal) of the Turkic Council H.E. Binali Yıldırım, as well as the Heads of TURKPA, TURKSOY, Turkic Academy and Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation have also attended the meeting. 
The Foreign Ministers discussed in detail the agenda and the program of the meeting of the Council of Heads of State (CHS) scheduled to take place in Istanbul on 12 November 2021, reviewed the decisions to be signed by the CHS as well as the draft Declaration of the 8th Summit and Turkic World Vision-2040.
The Ministers also exchanged views on the issues of multilateral cooperation among the Member States in the political, economic and cultural areas as well as endorsed relevant Reports of the Organization for the last two years. 
The Foreign Ministers at the end of the meeting signed the following documents:
1. Protocol to the Agreement on the Financial Rules of the Secretariat of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States Regarding the Scale of Compulsory Contributions of the Member States;
2. Regulation of the Council of Elders of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States;
3. Regulation on Granting Certain Statuses to the Cities of the Turkic World.
