In accordance with decisions taken at the Second General Assembly of the Turkic Council Turkic University Union, a delegation comprising the Dean of the Ege University Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Süheyda Atalay, the Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Abzal Saparbekuly and the Project Director of the Turkic Council Pelin Musabay Baki attended the meeting hosted by the Al Farabi Kazak Kazakh National University on 27 June 2016.
Thus, the delegation finished their field visit concerning the realization of the Orhun Process and the launch of the students and instructors exchange within the process among the Member Universities of the Turkic University Union.
Experts from L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and Kazakh-Turkish International Ahmet Yesevi University took part in the meeting where the parties discussed the issues such as the Bologna Process and the European Credit Transfer System currently being implemented in Kazakhstan, as well as the Orhun Process.
A report will be prepared on the subject after the field visits to Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.
