On behalf of the Organization of Turkic States and on my own behalf, I would like to extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes to Turkmen Government and brotherly Turkmen people on the occasion of the Independence Day of Turkmenistan.
Since its establishment, Turkmenistan has made substantial advancement in strengthening state institutions, increasing the prosperity of its people and levitating the country's place in the international arena.
Turkmenistan is certainly an indispensable part and an important component of the Turkic world. Bound by centuries old brotherhood ties, common language, history and culture, the Turkic States are extremely proud of the steady development and achievements of Turkmenistan in recent years, and are glad to be together under the roof of our Organization, which leads a new momentum to the fraternal relations among our countries.
Following our historic Istanbul Summit held in November last year, our efforts gained a fresh aspect with the joining of Turkmenistan to our Organization. Since then, all institutions of Turkmenistan have started actively participating in our undertakings and have made very concrete contributions.
Along with all these, I would like to express that, as the Organization of Turkic States, we have entered a very dynamic and significant era and I strongly hope we will together witness very tangible developments in the near future.
On this historical day, I convey once again my most sincere congratulations to the people and Administration of brotherly Turkmenistan and wish the country a very prosperous future.
