Congratulatory Message of the Secretary General on the Occasion of October 3rd – 15th Anniversary of the Nakhchivan Agreement and Turkic States Cooperation Day
Today, we proudly celebrate the 15th anniversary of the signing of the Nakhchivan Agreement, which established our Organization, and October 3rd, the Turkic States Cooperation Day, honoring the historical significance of this date. On this momentous occasion, I am deeply honored to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all our brothers and sisters across the Turkic World. This day serves as a tribute to our shared heritage and the formalization of our cooperation.
Our unity, built upon a foundation of solid bonds of common language, history and traditions, has strengthened year by year. The Organization of Turkic States (OTS) has become a cornerstone for fostering collaboration in political, economic, cultural and educational as well as social spheres, growing to encompass 30 areas of cooperation. This progress is a testament to the collective will of our Member States and Observers, working together to create a prosperous and harmonious future for the entire region.
As we celebrate our 15th anniversary, we do so with a renewed sense of purpose. With key initiatives in transport, energy, digitalization, and climate action, along with preparations for the upcoming Summit in Kyrgyzstan, our Organization is poised to achieve even greater milestones.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to the Heads of State, Foreign Ministers, and all the institutions of our Member States and Observers for their unwavering commitment to enhancing cooperation under the OTS roof. Their contributions and dedication continue to light our way toward greater unity and shared success.
I convey my best wishes as we celebrate this important day, knowing that together we will achieve even greater heights.
“Together, we are stronger!”
