Dr. Mirvokhid Azimov, Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), along with Mr. Askar Kadirov, Secretary General of the Alliance of Logistics Centers and Cargo Carriers of Turkic States, visited the headquarters of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF) and held a meeting with H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, President of the TIF and Mr. Ramil Babayev, General Director of the TIF on 18 April 2025 in Istanbul.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on recent developments within the region and deliberated on joint initiatives aimed at attracting investments in enhancing transport and logistics in the region. They emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts to ensure transport connectivity and facilitate infrastructure development across the Turkic world.

Dr. Azimov also held a separate bilateral meeting with Mr. Ramil Babayev and the senior management team of the TIF. The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in the fields of transport, connectivity, and logistics, as well as exploring opportunities for supporting infrastructure projects that can contribute to the economic integration of the Member States.
