Delegation of the Turkic Council International Observer Mission in Bishkek started monitoring the Presidential Elections of Kyrgyzstan.
Upon invitation of the government of the Kyrgyz Republic, the delegation of the Turkic Council International Observer Mission started monitoring the Presidential Elections of Kyrgyzstan on 13 October 2017 in Bishkek.

The delegations for the international observation mission of the Turkic Council comprised officials of the Secretariat and representatives from each Member State other than Kyrgyzstan, namely, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Turkey.

On 13 October, the observers met with Adakhan Madumarov, presidential candidate of the Kyrgyz Republic and with Altynbek Ergaliev, the Head of the campaign headquarters, Timur Sariyev, presidential candidate of the Kyrgyz Republic. Both provided information on their respective election campaigns. In both meetings Members of the Mission extended information on the functions and objectives of the mission in the scope of the monitoring activities.

Project Directors of the Turkic Council Assan Mazhitov, Ali Çiviler, Zhyldyz Uzakova, Deputy Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs Araz Salmanov, Coordinator at the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities Fatih Doğan participated the meetings.
