The delegation of Turkic Council, headed by the Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, Secretary General of the Turkic Council, attended to the event organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Kingdom of Spain with a special collaboration of the Embassies of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of the Kazakhstan on 9 June 2016 in Valencia.
Within the margins of the Second Meeting of the International Network for the UNESCO Silk Road online program, Ömer Önhon, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey hosted an event at the Palacio del Malferit.
Secretary General Hasanov delivered a speech at the said event where Anar Muharremov, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Kingdom of Spain, Bakhyt Dyussenbayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Kingdom of Spain, Ridi Kurtezi, Ambassador of Albania to the Kingdom of Spain and Ali Evsen, President of Evsen Group of Companies were among the high level guests together with the representatives of UNESCO.
In his speech, Secretary General Hasanov presented his gratitude to the host Ambassador Ömer Önhon and he underlined the importance of the silk road throughout the history being a bridge for peace, tolerance and cooperation. Within this context he gave information about the projects of Turkic Council related to the revival of the Silk Road as an attractive tourism destination and thus mentioned about the Turkic Council Modern Silk Road Tour Package that had been designed in this direction.
Project Directors Pelin Musabay Baki, Yedil Myrzakhanov, Farid Damirli and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul from Turkic Council, Representative of Sheki Governership from Republic of Azerbaijan, Sarkhan Musayev and Coordinator for Foreign Relations of Young Entrepreneurs of Turkey, Reha Yeresen accompanied Secretary General Hasanov at the event.
