On his official visit to Astana to attend the 6th Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking Countries (TURKPA) the Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Abzal Saparbekuly met with the Head of the Department on Development of Transit and Transit Logistics at the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Dastan Ramazanov.
During the meeting the Deputy Secretary General and the Head of Department talked over the cooperation among the Member States of the Turkic Council in the sphere of transportation, particularly they discussed the prospective negotiations on Agreement on the International Combined Transport of Goods and Agreement on the Establishment of the Coordination Committee on the Development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route.
They also addressed the activities that could be carried out in the sphere of transport during the Kazakhstan’s Chairmanship at the Turkic Council taking into account the already existing legal basis established among the official authorities of the Member States.
