Representative of the Turkic Council Assan Mazhitov participated at the Opening Ceremony of the 1st Sport Games of the Turkic Council Turkic University Union.
The games were opened by the speeches of Incumbent Chairman of the Turkic Council Turkic University Union and Rector of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Prof. Sebahaddin Balcı; 1st Vice-Rector of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Prof. Asylbek Kulmyrzaev, and Representative of the Turkic Council Mr. Assan Mazhitov.
Furthermore, Ambassadors, Deputy Director of State Agency for Sport and Youth Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Rectors of Member Universities, representatives of the Embassies attended the Opening Ceremony.
More than 200 contestants are participating from the Member Universities from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey are going to contest in the games that will continue until 19 May 2017. The award and closing ceremony will take place on 19 May 2017 in Bishkek.
