Former Prime Minister, Former Foreign Minister, and Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Poland H.E. Hasan Hasanov gave two lectures to the participants of the Turkic Council Junior Diplomats 5th Joint Training program on 25-26 June 2018 in Diplomacy Academy of Turkey.
In his first lecture entitled “Common Turkic Values”, he gave information about ethnic ancestors of modern Turkic people the Cimmerians, the Scythians (Sakas), the Huns, the Oghuzs and the Kypchaks mentioning about great Turkic leaders Oghuz Khagan and Alp Ar Tonga. He also emphasized that Tengrism, Turkic New Year-Nowruz, Dede Korkut, Mahmud Kashkarli, Issyk and Orhono-Yenisei texts, Yusuf Khass Hajib and 12-year cycle Turkic animal calendar are among the most important symbols of unity of Turkic people.
His second lecture’s topic was “Relation between Ambassador and Junior Diplomat: Point of view of Ambassador/Fragments from my Diplomatic Experience”. He informed about his extensive experience in public and diplomatic service, his view on diplomatic work style and also recommendations for effective speaking and negotiation techniques.
