In the framework of Turkic Council, vocational training courses were conducted for the Center for the Development of Tourism Industry in South-Kazakhstan Region.

In the framework of Turkic Council, with support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey and TURSAB the vocational training courses were conducted for the Center for the Development of Tourism Industry in South-Kazakhstan Region in the period of 22 November – 5 December, 2016 in Shymkent, Kazakhstan.

Training courses were organized in 4 branches: Sales and Marketing, Food and Beverage, Tour operators and tour agencies activities and Hotel management. Trainers were from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey as well as representatives of Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TURSAB) and Turkish Hoteliers Federation (TUROFED). In total 59 representatives of tourism industry, particularly staff of restaurants, hotels, tour operators and tour agencies and 25 hoteliers of big and medium hotels of South-Kazakhstan Region participated in the said courses. At the end of the trainings all participants received certificates.

After this training, since the last three years, almost 1000 tourism employees took part in these trainings carried out by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey for other Member States and half of participants were female.
