International Election Observation Mission of the Organization of Turkic States monitored Parliamentary Elections in Kyrgyzstan
International Election Observation Mission of the Organization of Turkic States monitored the election of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of the Kyrgyz Republic that took place on 28 November 2021. 
The Mission was headed by Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Gismat Gozalov and comprised of the officials of the Secretariat of the Organization as well as Central Election Commission representatives and diplomats from the Member States other than Kyrgyzstan.
Within the framework of pre-election contacts, the Mission met with the Chairperson of the Central Election Commission and Referenda (CECR) Mrs. Nurzhan Shaydalbekova, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Azizbek Madmarov, as well as with the representatives of political parties running at the elections.
The Mission has conducted the observation of the voting procedures in 16 polling stations on 28 November 2021 in Bishkek and presented its assessments on the elections with national, international and public media outlets at a press conference organized today.
In addition, same day the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, H.E. Sadyr Zhaparov received the Heads of the International Election Observation Missions monitoring the elections, including Mr. Gismat Gozalov, Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States.
