Organization of Turkic States (OTS) organized an online meeting on the implementation of the pilot project "Tabarruk Ziyarat" between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan on 17 January 2023.
The project aims to attract more tourists to the region by promoting objects of historical, spiritual and cultural heritage related to the Turkic-Islamic civilization in the Member and Observer States of the OTS.
At the meeting, Joint Action Plan, including steps to be taken in the upcoming period for the realization of the project, was adopted and signed by Dr. Mirvokhid Azimov, Deputy Secretary General of the OTS, Mr. Dastan Ryspekov, Chairman of the Committee of Tourism Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Mr. Ulugbek Agzamov, First Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Following the effective implementation of the pilot project “Tabarruk Ziyarat” between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, all Member and Observer States of the OTS are expected to actively take part in the project.
