The 33rd Senior Officials Committee meeting of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) chaired by Deputy Secretary General Dr. Omer Kocaman and attended by the delegations consisting of the senior officials of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs as well as representatives of the related ministries and authorities of the Members was held on 12-13 May 2022 in Istanbul.

In the framework of the meeting, simultaneous sessions were held to discuss respectively political and legal issues of the OTS. 

The delegations reviewed the strategic and legal documents of the Organization and exchanged views on the organization of the upcoming Summit and the establishment of new mechanisms to address environmental challenges among other issues on the agenda.
