Meeting with the International Centre for Sport Security (ICSS)
Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov paid an official visit to Doha to meet with the President of the International for Sport Security (ICSS) Mr. Muhammed Hanzab on 17-18 May 2016.
Parties discussed the future course of cooperation between the two organizations based on the Memorandum of Understanding signed this year.
Secretary General invited the ICSS to join the projects undertaken by the Turkic Council in the field of Youth and Sports such as Second World Nomad Games, Youth Festivals and Camps, as well as the University Sports Games.
ICSS made a presentation about their prospective “Silk Road Initiative” and Parties held discussions on the materialization of the initiative. Secretary General Hasanov invited Mr. Hanzab to participate in the Joint International Conference to be organized by the Turkic Council and UNAOC entitled “Role of Youth in Countering Radicalization” in Istanbul in November 2016. A panel of the Conference is planned to be dedicated to Turkic Council-ICSS relations and the Silk Road Initiative.
During the meeting the Secretary General Hasanov was accompanied by Project Director Ali Çiviler and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul.
