23 years ago on the midnight of February 25 / February 26, newly independent Azerbaijan was attacked by its neighbour Armenia, ending up with a massacre which could be completely described as a genocide. Military troops of Armenian Republic killed 613 civilians, including 106 women and 83 children and more than a thousand people were taken as prisoner.
Khojaly tragedy is one of the bloodiest massacres carried out against civilians in the history of humanity.
