On the occasion of the 15 March, the National Day, marking the 172nd anniversary of the Hungarian Spring of Nations, on behalf of the Turkic Council and my own behalf, I extend our best wishes for the prosperity of Hungary and well-being of the Hungarian People.
As we all fortunately witnessed, last two years have marked very significant developments in institutionalizing formal cooperative relations between the Turkic Council and Hungary. In 2018 Hungary became an Observer State in the Turkic Council and that was followed by the inauguration of the European Office of the Turkic Council in Budapest in September 2019. Hungary also enjoys observer status at some other Turkic Cooperation Organizations such as TurkPA, Turkic Academy and Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation.
In fact these developments were the natural outcomes of the strong ties that are rooted in the long and glorious traditions, which depend on our common Turkic heritage.
I strongly believe that our partnership based on common values and goals will further promote mutual understanding and focus us on working with commitment and responsibility for the security, peace and prosperity of our citizens, countries and regions.
On this meaningful day, I would like to once again congratulate Hungary as well as its valuable people and convey my best regards.
“Boldog Nemzeti Ünnepet a magyaroknak!”
