On behalf of the Turkic Council and on my own behalf, we commemorate with respect the Great Leader and Founder of modern Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev on the 16th anniversary of his passing away.
Heydar Aliyev had played a destiny shaping historical role in the foundation of the modern Azerbaijan paving the way for the prosperity and growth of the brotherly Azerbaijan. He also had significant contributions to the unity of the Turkic World.
Taking this opportunity, we convey our heartfelt gratitude to the Great Leader and vail respectfully in front of his honorable memory.
