The first meeting of the Working Group for cooperation in Social Policy of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) took place on 16 May 2024 in Istanbul.

The meeting moderated by Deputy Secretary General Merey Mukazhan provided an opportunity for the experts from the Member States and Observers to discuss face-to-face preparatory issues for the upcoming inaugural meeting of Ministers in charge of Social Policy of the OTS to be held on 17 May 2024 in Istanbul.

Having exchanged opinions on future joint undertakings in the field of family affairs and social protection, the members of the Working group discussed the draft text of the declaration.
