The meeting of the Senior Officials of the Ministries of Economy and Finance and relevant Institutions of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) on the establishment of the Turkic Investment Fund was held on 21-22 April 2022 in Istanbul.
OTS Secretary General, H.E Baghdad Amreyev in his address stressed the necessity of ending the establishment process in time and expressed his hope that Fund will be operational before the end of the year as planned.
In line with the decision of heads of OTS member states, taken at the 8th Summit held in Istanbul on 12 November 2021, Senior Officials of the relevant Ministries discussed the details of the framework Agreement establishing the Turkic Investment Fund and agreed on the core elements of the Fund including issues related to functions, powers, financial resources, organization, and operations of the Turkic Investment Fund.
Secretary General B. Amreyev also held bilateral talks with the participating delegations and exchanged views on the issues of high importance with regard to the planned design of the Turkic Investment Fund.
