The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, participated in the opening session of the 51st Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), held on 21 June 2025 in Istanbul.

On the margins of the event, Secretary General Omuraliev held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary General of the OIC. The two sides exchanged views on enhancing mutual engagement and discussed concrete steps to strengthen and formalize cooperation between the OTS and the OIC within multilateral frameworks. In this context, they underlined the importance of fostering closer dialogue and exploring avenues for structured partnership between the two organizations.
