H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held a meeting with H.E. Nurlan Abdirov, Chairman of the Central Election Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on 13 May 2025 in Turkistan, Kazakhstan, within the framework of the First Meeting of the Advisory Platform of the Central Election Authorities (APCEA) of the Member States of the OTS.

The Parties unanimously expressed belief that the APCEA will serve as a valuable mechanism bringing the Central Election Authorities of the OTS countries under one roof developing and strengthening mutual understanding among the respective institutions and allowing them to exchange experiences and best practices. 

The Parties also agreed on continuation of the close cooperation among the election bodies of the Turkic States under the auspices of the APCEA of the OTS in future.
