H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) met with H.E. Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 13 May in Tashkent.

The Secretary General provided brief information on the current activities of the OTS and preparations to the upcoming Informal Summit of the Organization to be held on 21 May 2025 in Budapest, Hungary.

The parties also discussed ongoing efforts and measures on the implementation of the initiatives of H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, put forward during the Summits of the OTS and emphasized the significance of close coordination on all issues.
