The Informal Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) took place in Budapest on 21–22 May 2025, highlighting Hungary’s role as a bridge between the Turkic States and Europe.
On the sidelines of the Summit, H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the OTS, gave interviews to several media outlets. He emphasized the importance of the Summit for deepening regional cooperation, noted Hungary’s role in strengthening Turkic ties, and outlined the Organization’s priorities, including expanding partnerships, simplifying customs procedures, boosting trade, and enhancing transport connectivity across the region.
