President of the Republic of Turkey received the Secretary General of the Turkic Council
Secretary General of the Turkic Council H.E. Baghdad Amreyev was received by the President of the Republic of Turkey H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on 3 November 2021 at the Presidential Complex in Ankara. 
Expressing his gratitude for the continuous support of H.E. President Erdoğan to the work of the Organization, Secretary General Amreyev informed the President on the recent activities as well as future strategies of the Turkic Council and preparations of the upcoming 8th Summit of the Turkic Council, which will take place on 12 November 2021 in Istanbul.
Stating his firm support to the Secretariat of the Turkic Council in carrying out the activities and projects among the Member States, President Erdoğan highlighted the rising effectiveness and accomplishments of the Organization in latest period. 
President Erdoğan expressed his content with the achievements made by the Turkic Council and stated that Turkey is ready to host the 8th Summit and take over the Chairmanship of the Turkic Council next week.
President of Turkey further pointed out his firm belief that the Turkic Council and its Member and Observer countries will enter a new era of advance cooperation following the historical Istanbul Summit and that the Secretariat should uphold and carry over the momentum achieved within the Turkic world and continue its essential role in enhancement, solidarity and collaboration among the Member States.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey H.E.Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu was also present at the reception. Foreign Minister and the Secretary General elaborated on agenda and program of the Summit, as well as the decisions to be taken by the Heads of State. They also discussed Turkey’s Chairmanship of the Turkic Council and related work schedule for the upcoming term.
