President of the World Ethnosport Confederation, Necmeddin Bilal Erdogan, visited the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, Baghdad Amreyev at the Secretariat building in Istanbul on 9 March 2022.
During the meeting, Parties exchanged views on the recent regional and global developments together with their reflections on the Turkic world. Sides also held detailed discussions regarding the current agenda of the Turkic world and ways of enhancing relations among the OTS Member States.
Secretary General Amreyev underlined the importance of the recently held 5th Ethnosport Forum in Baku where he attended as a keynote speaker and congratulated B. Erdogan for the Confederation’s contribution to the promotion of traditional sports and our common history and culture across the world.
B. Erdogan and B. Amreyev further discussed the preparations of the 4th World Nomad Games which will be held in İznik, Bursa at the end of September, as well as the other events to be realized during the year in Bursa, which is declared as the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World for the year 2022.
Parties further exchanged opinions on several topics of mutual interest.
