The 4th Meeting of the Ministers and High Officials in charge of Media and Information of the Organization of Turkic States will be organized on 13-15 May 2022 in Istanbul, Türkiye.
Co-hosted by Director of Communications of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Altun and OTS Secretary General H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, the meeting will be attended by the Ministers and high officials in charge Media and Information of the Member and Observer States of OTS.
The parties will hold discussions on the following agenda items: organization of international media forums and exchange & training programs for media professionals; promotion of further cooperation among the news agencies, cooperation on combating disinformation; formation of the “Association of Journalists of the Organization of Turkic States"; diversification of audio-visual content about the Member States’ history and culture.
Prior to the Ministerial Meeting, the 9th Meeting of the Working Group on Media and Information of the OTS will be convened.
Following the meeting, more information will be shared with the public.
