The meeting will be hosted by Zhanat Beishenov, Minister of Transport and Roads of the Kyrgyz Republic, and will be moderated by the Secretary General of the Turkic Council, Baghdad Amreyev. The Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Berik Kamaliev, Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey Selim Dursun, Head of the Department for Regulation of Transport of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan Javid Najafov, the State Secretary responsible for Transport Policy, Ministry of Innovation and Technology of Hungary László Mosóczi will participate in the meeting and high level participation is expected from the Ministries of Transport of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
The agenda items to be discussed during the meeting are;
- Measures to be taken to facilitate transport and transit operations (road, railway, sea) among the Member States;
- The potential multilateral cooperation mechanism and opportunities for the development of the Trans-Caspian Corridor and identification of necessary and urgent measures to be taken by the Member States;
- Developing transport cooperation between the Member States and Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Hungary;
- Measures to develop the Sister Ports Process among Baku, Aktau and Samsun Sea Ports of the Turkic Council;
- Accession of the Kuryk Port of Kazakhstan to the MoU on Sister Port Relation and Cooperation among the Ports of Baku, Aktau and Samsun;
- Preparation of the Turkic Council Logistics Forum to be organized in Aktau in 2019.
