Project Director of the Turkic Council Assan Mazhitov upon invitation of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United Nations has participated Second Regional Networking Forum for the Arab states, Europe and the CIS on South- South and Triangular Cooperation and addressed the Session on Examples of Capacity Development and Promotion of Homegrown Expertise Through South-South and Triangular cooperation organized in the framework of Astana Economic Forum on 15 June 2017 in Astana.
The theme of Project Director Mazhitov’s speech was Turkic Council’s Approach for Capacity Building: the Key instrument in the Toolbox to Empower Sustainable Development. In his speech he shared the experience of the Turkic Council in capacity building and gave concrete examples of the project implemented in this context. He especially shared the capacity building programs carried with aim of experience sharing, technical assistance and exchange of good practices.
