Following the meeting between Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov and Ambassador Luis Felipe Farnandez de la Pena, Managing Director for Europe and Central Asia of the European Union (EU) External Action Service held on 17 February 2015 in Brussels, Mrs. Pelin Musabay Baki, Project Director, visited Ambassador Bela Szombati, Charge d`Affaires of the Delegation of the EU to Turkey on 25 February 2015 in Ankara to brief him of the said meeting and to discuss in detail possible avenues of cooperation between the two organizations. 

At the meeting where Mr. François Naucodie, First Cousellor, Political Officer for Foreign Policy from the EU Delegation was also present, the mission, vision and activities of the Turkic Council as well as the modalities of its coperation with regional and international organizations were put forward by Mrs. Musabay Baki. At the end of meeting, with of view to seizing future opportunities of cooperation between the two organizations and conducting further consultations, contact points from both sides were designated.
