Promotional film of the Second World Nomad Games (2WNG) produced in cooperation with the Turkic Council and Save the Dream was released.
With the aim of highlighting how the World Nomad Games constitute an example to show how sport encourages inclusion, diversity and inter-cultural dialogue between different peoples and communities, Turkic Council and Save the Dream joined forces and captured special images and exclusive interviews at one of the world’s largest ethno-sports events, which took place on 3-8 September 2016 in Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyzstan.
The film will be broadcasted on social media and TV stations around the world to introduce our ancient culture and traditions to the world.
Some 1400 athletes from almost 62 countries attended the Games. Overall participants are estimated to have been over 20.000 including the athletes and spectators as well as high level state officials.
