Representatives of financial institutions and regulatory bodies of the OTS held an online meeting on the draft documents related with the Turkic Green Finance Council (TGFC).
The establishment of the Turkic Council on Green Finance was proposed by H.E. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of Kazakhstan at the 9th OTS Summit in Samarkand on 11 November 2022.
During the first meeting moderated by Dr Omer Kocaman, Deputy Secretary General of the OTS, the Kazakh side made a brief presentation about the TGFC. Having discussed the relevant draft regulations, Parties agreed to hold the next meeting in May 2023.
