The second day of the International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for Development co-organized by the Turkic Council, the UNDP Regional Bureau for Europe and the CIS (UNDP-RBEC) started.
The conference will continue with the third session where panelists will discuss the dimension of the involvement of ICT and private sector in development. The speakers of the session, which will be moderated by Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of Azerbaijan to the United Nations Husniyya Mammadova, are as follows:
• Marcos Neto, Director, UNDP Istanbul International Center for Private Sector in Development;
• Dr. Ceyhun Göcenoğlu, Corporate Citizenship and Corporate Affairs Manager, IBM;
• Özlem Çalışkan, Marketing Manager, CISCO, Turkey;
• Dr. Hakan Avdan, CEO and Board Member, INVEST AZ.
After the third panel the participants of the conference will attend interactive brainstorming session where the attendees will have discussions on the main issues of the three panels of the conference.
The meeting will continue with the luncheon.
