Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) conducted an online ad-hoc meeting of the Sub-Working Group on E-Government with the participation of experts from relevant authorities of the Member States of the Organization on 10 February 2022.
Parties discussed the practical issues of enhancing multilateral cooperation on E-Government by developing a legal framework on e-signature, organizing training programs within the OTS in partnership with international and regional institutions, creating common mobile applications based on Open Data and establishing a "Common Mobile Device Registration System".
Emphasizing the importance of exploring the experience of one-stop-shops and the effectiveness of organized field visits in the Member States, Parties agreed to continue organizing similar programs and events.
Member States underlined that, additional emphasis should be placed on digital matters to foster cooperation, particularly in the field of advancing e-government services.
