Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov had bilateral meetings with Erlan Idrissov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Elmar Mammadyarov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Erlan Abdildaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey on 8 December 2016 in Hamburg on the margins of the 23rd OSCE Ministerial Council where he is invited as a special guest of the OSCE German Chairmanship.
During the meetings, Secretary General Hasanov and the Foreign Ministers of the Turkic Council Member States discussed the upcoming activities of the Turkic Council, its deepening relations with the international organizations and the ways to further cooperation between the Turkic Council and the OSCE in the period ahead.
Secretary General Hasanov also met Ambassador Gong Jianwei, Executive Director of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) on the sidelines of the Ministerial Council. On this occasion, they took up the avenues to enhance collaboration between the two influential organizations in Eurasia.
Furthermore, he had talks with Ambassador Kairat Sarybai, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the OSCE, Ambassador Ermek Ibraimov,Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to the OSCE, Ambassador Galib Israfilov, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the OSCE and Ambassador Engin Soysal, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Turkey to the OSCE.
The Foreign Ministers of Turkic Council Member States addressed the OSCE Ministerial Council raising the importance to equip the OSCE with the adequate tools to tackle today`s complex security challenges.
Project Director Pelin Musabay Baki and Yedil Mirzakhanov and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul accompanied Secretary General Hasanov at the OSCE Ministerial Council.
