On the margins of his official visit to Vienna to address the Permanent Council of the Organization of Security and Cooperation in Europe -OSCE, Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, Secretary General of the Turkic Council had a fruitful meeting with Lamberto Zannier, Secretary General of OSCE on 21 July 2015 in Vienna.
During the meeting, a wide range of areas for the development of relations between the two organizations on the basis of mutual interest was discussed. In this regard, both Secretary Generals highlighted that collaboration among the organizations sharing similar goals to achieve in the fields of economy as well as socio-cultural affairs will pave the way for the establishment of lasting peace and welfare in the region. Furthermore they had an understanding to organize joint events on the issues of common interest.
On the occasion of the meeting, Secretary General Hasanov congratulated the 40th anniversary of Helsinki Final Act that presents a historical document guiding the future of international relations and wished success to Secretary General Zannier for the endevours of the OSCE with regard to the Helsinki 40 + Process.
At the end of the meeting, Secretary General Hasanov presented a souvenir to Secretary General Zannier in the memory of the day.
Project Director Pelin Musabay Baki and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul accompanied Secretary Hasanov during this meeting.
